The DOH launched “Chikiting Ligtas sa dagdag bakuna kontra rubella, polio at tigdas” a campaign for Measles-Rubella, Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental Immunization. Mayor Carolyn “Sweet” C. Sy-Reyes lead the program together with Dr. Ferchito Avelino DOH Asst. Regional Director, Dr. Gladys Escote DMO V, Dr. Monrey Macilla NIP Regional Coordinator, Dr. Ma. Pricilla Fajardo PHO I, Ms. Nancy Pastrana and PHO staffs. The event took place at Bonifacio Covered Court, Pilar, Sorsogon. Immunization is the most effective way to protect children from these deadly diseases, so all children must be vaccinated.
