2021 WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY

Theme: Empowerment and Equal Opportunity: Together we can create a kinder and inclusive world for Persons with Autism

The Officials and Employees of the Local Government Unit of Pilar, Sorsogon hold an activity in the observance of the 2021 World Autism Awareness Day during their Flag Raising Ceremony today at Bonifacio Covered Court.

The Office of Public Information Officer, as the host Office, puts emphasis on the importance of creating an inclusive world for Persons with Autism. In the introductory message, the host office underscores a special kindness and compassion that one should demonstrate to these persons who possess skills and ability to be in the mainstream.

As Start Duncan said, ” Autism is not a disability. It’s a different ability”. Indeed, to be different is a beautiful thing. It necessitates special eyes to see clearly the beauty hidden within.
