For the unprecedented hardship faced by the seafarers because of COVID 19 Pandemic, the Municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon acknowledges the vital role of every seafarer at the core of shipping future.

Cognizant of the global health crisis, the seafarers found themselves both on the front line of the global response and subject to difficult and  challenging working conditions. We in the Local Government Unit of Pilar, share a part of our heart in recognizing their plea for a fair future.
