The Local Government Unit of Pilar partakes in the Inauguration and Blessing of the newly constructed building of Pilar Municipal Police Station as it marks another meaningful event on July 26, 2021 held at Calongay,Pilar,Sorsogon.

 

The new PNP building was in line with the facility development program of the PNP as one of its mission of building a decent and state-of-the-art establishment. This will serve as the new home of the members of Pilar MPS that provides quality police service to the municipality of Pilar and its people.

 

Hon. Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes with the members of the Sanggunian Bayan headed by VM Luis C. Leosala, Jr. were in full force and showed their valuable support in the activity.

 

The program was graced by PBGEN Jonnel Estomo, RD PRO5 ,the guest of Honor and Speaker,represented by PCOL Rodolfo D Castil JR, DRDO of Police Regional Office 5 together with PCOL Lianne M Van Del Verde, RLRDD, PCOL Arturo P Brual, Director of Sorsogon PPO and Dir. Josephmar Gil of NAPOLCOM Region 5.

 

Among the highlights were the Symbolic Key Turnover, unveiling of MPS Marker and, the Ribbon Cutting. Further, the blessing of the edifice was officiated by Rev. Fr. Treb Futol of the Our Lady of the Pillar Shrine.( Pilar PIO)
