PRAISE recognizes Performing Employees
The Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee of the Local Government Unit of Pilar presented today, the 4th of October 2021, a Certificate of Commendation to the Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Program Council and ZOD Verification Team for the meritorious service that they exemplified making Pilar an AWARDEE in Bicol Region as the Most Improved LGU in Environmental Health Services (MILE HS) this year. The Commendation was presented by Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes with other members of the PRAISE Committee and was received by the Sanitary Inspector David Mandrilla and the members of the ZOD Verification Team, Ms. Erma Areola, Mr. Jikiri Llarena, Ms. Marivic Cruz and Ms. Virginia Maceda.
PRAISE is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity and productivity in the public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees, individually or in groups, for their suggestions, inventions, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy or other improvements in government operations or for other extraordinary acts or services in the public interest.

This was all made possible because of the admirable efforts of the Sanitation Inspectors Ms. Vham, Ms. Erma, and Sir Jun in the implementation of the program. Pilar Mayor attended the Virtual Awarding Ceremony together with the ZOD Team on September 24, 2021.
The members of the ZOD Program Council is headed by the Mayor, the members are the MHO, the Sanitary Inspector, the SB Chair on Health and Environment, the MPDC, MBO, the LIGA President, the DOH Representative and the CSO Representative.
