Pilar, Sorsogon - Awards for the Local Government Unit of Pilar and Office of the Municipal Agriculturist were received by Engr. Danilo Ocmer, Pilar's newly-appointed Municipal Agriculturist from the Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rice Research Institute on March 14, 2023 at Farmer’s Auditorium, Albay Farmer’s Bounty Village, Cabangan, Camalig, Albay.

The Special Citation Award underscores LGU-Pilar's commitment and dedication of serving the farmers thus acquired a 100% distribution of Palay Seeds during the dry season cropping from November 2022 to present as evident in its Liquidation Receipt.

In an interview with Municipal Agriculturist Ocmer, this achievement is merited to the hardwork exemplified by the Rice Program Coordinators, Ms. Elsa Blanquisco and Marissa Almen with the support of the staffs of OMAg.
