BPLO registered Businesses exceeding the target for 2024
PILAR, SORSOGON- The Local Government Unit of Pilar Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) registered businesses exceeding the target for both new and renewal in the recently concluded Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) 2024.
Business Permit and Licensing Officer Mr. Joseph Dennis Cas spearheaded the month-long permits and licenses processing in the municipality of Pilar along with the offices of Municipal Planning and Development, Engineering, Environment and Natural Resources Unit (ENRU), Health and Sanitation, Mayor, Treasury, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) commenced on January 3, 2024 and ends on January 31, 2024 at the Ground Floor, Municipal Hall, LGU Complex, Calongay, Pilar, Sorsogon.
As stipulated under Republic Act No. 11032 or “An Act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services, amending for the purpose Republic Act No. 9485, otherwise known as the Anti-Red Tape Act Of 2007, and for other purposes”, LGU-Pilar implemented the annual Business One Stop Shop scheme to serve influx of business owners who will either register and renew their permits for the current year.
BOSS on the other hand, aims to help small to medium enterprise (SME) register and renew their businesses efficiently and fast where the process and receiving of applications, receiving of payments, and issuance of approved licenses, clearances, permits, or authorizations happens in one location.
On the other hand, according to the data disclosed by the Business Permit and Licensing Office, a total of 401 renewals and 38 new enterprises was registered from January 3 to January 31, 2024. (Pilar PIO)
