Pilar, Sorsogon - LGU-Pilar under the leadership of Hon. Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes entered into a marketing agreement with NFA Region V on May 9, 2023 at the Executive Hall of LGU Complex.

Pilar commits to provide a premium amount of P3.00 to be added to the existing government buying price of palay currently pegged at P19.00 per kilogram, purchased from Famers/Farmers Organizations.

In attendance to the activity are the key personalities of National Food Authority Regional Office V led by Regional Manager ll Osmundo R. Guinto, Jr, NFA Sorsogon Provincial Manage Julie B. Llenaresas, SB Chair in Agriculture Hon. George E. Loseriaga, Municipal Agriculturist Engr. Danilo M. Ocmer, Jr. and Farmers Association Presidents. (Pilar PIO)
