ACTING MUNICIPAL TREASURER OF PILAR NAMED

PILAR, SORSOGON.  The Local Government Unit and the Office of the Municipal Treasurer of Pilar welcome the newly designated Acting Municipal Treasurer, Ms. Aireen M. Lotivio, by virtue of Department Personnel Order No. 347.2025 issued by the Department of Finance.

This is in view of the mandatory retirement of the then Municipal Treasurer Arlene A. Ramos which took effect on April 20, 2025. Ms. Lotivio who have been serving as Assistant Municipal Treasurer of Pilar since February 3, 2022 meets the qualifications set forth for the said designation. Furthermore, the representations made by Pilar Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes and the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) had significantly contributed to the prompt issuance of the Order, thus, operationalization of the functions of the Municipal Treasurer's Office was not hampered.

Ms. Lotivio shall perform the functions of the said office guided by the provisions of the Local Treasury Operations Manual (LTOM), 2nd Edition and other applicable laws.

The assumption to office commenced on April 20 and shall end on April 19, 2026 unless revoked. (Pilar PIO)
