Pilar, Third LGU in Sorsogon to pass the ISO Certification

      LGU-Pilar got its ISO Certification from TUV SUD Philippines dated April 12, 2021 but it reached the Office of the Mayor on May 18, 2021. TUV SUD Philippines is the certifying body of Pilar's Quality Management System under ISO 9001:2015.

      Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes, overwhelmed by the realization of her dream for an ISO-Certified LGU services,  conveyed her sincerest gratitude to everyone who walked with her in this journey, stayed determined and focused to work with her to have everything done and all the support extended by the provincial government in its quest for a globally standardized kind of service to achieve customer satisfaction.

      The Provincial Government of Sorsogon headed by Governor Francis Joseph G. Escudero continues to motivate the LGUs to aspire for ISO Certification hoping that the Province of Sorsogon will top among provinces in the nation to be ISO Certified, Pilar is one who embraced it both as a challenge and a way to change from the conventional type to a fast, service-focused and client-oriented processes.  With the guidance of the principles of ISO-QMS, LGU Pilar is now ,confidently, ready to face the next chapter, to be continually and consistently work for improvement and sustainability.

   As Oprah Winfrey said, "the key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance, even the small steps and little victories along the path will take on greater meaning."
