The quote; "Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later" from Og Mandino becomes the inspiration of those who worked collaboratively in order to experience bounty amidst scarcity and inadequacies.

The Local Government Unit of Pilar thru the Office of the Municipal Agriculture had worked with Marifosque ES Teachers and Parents and BLGU Marifosque Officials to introduce a program dubbed as Season-Long Training on Vegetable Production which finally hold the Graduation Ceremony and Field Day on June 25,2021 at Marifosque,Pilar,Sorsogon.

"Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na ang isang programa ay naging matagumpay dahil sa pagtutulungan, sipag at tiyaga ng mga magagaling na magulang, guro, konseho ng barangay at ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Pilar", Mayor Sweet exclaimed . She was overwhelmed how the garden looked like after a longer time of hardwork and learning experience. She gladly congratulates Marifosque ES for its interest in such a noble undertaking thus, encouraged everyone to continue planting and make the environment clean and green.

On the other hand, Jessica San Pedro Ascano, the School Head extends her gratitude to LGU Pilar and to the Agriculture Office for the trust and support given to them especially for the supply of seedlings and organic fertilizers. She also thanked all the persons involved in making the activity possible from plotting, planting and up to harvesting.

Likewise, PB Lubiano also showed his support by the extra time and effort extended in his regular visit with other officials to the site ensuring that it is taken cared of .

Moreover, Ms. Marites Rebellon, Program Coordinator in Crops and Vegetable Production expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all whose support and participation for the success can not be measured.

The season-long training for vegetable production is a hands-on training conceptualized as "Seed to Table" implemented by the Agriculture Office headed by Victor Yee which started last March 26,2021. The activity is aimed at providing the technology on vegetable production turning the community into sustainable, food sufficient and food secured amidst COVID-19 pandemic.
