The Local Government Unit of Pilar successfully maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines Inc. (TUV SUD) after passing the 1st Surveillance Audit on March 7,2022.

 

Mr. Jofre Velasco the Lead Auditor of TUV SUD Audit Team accompanied by Ms. Adorable Aguila and Mr. Michael Nelson Soriano administered the one-day on-site audit to ensure that the agency is adhering to the highest standard of requirements for a quality management bestowed upon LGU Pilar on April 12, 2021.

 

In order to continue their ISO Certification for the next two years, this process determines that the LGU management system was effectively implemented and sustained. Accordingly, it is a tool to maintain a higher standard to meet a quality output and accomplish organizational goals.

 

ISO 9001:2015 on the other hand, is an internationally recognized quality management standard which specifies Quality Management System (QMS) requirements focused on an oraganization's ability to meet and improve upon customer satisfaction and quality requirements. In such a way, TUV SUD as the certifying body ensures that the LGU attained its sustainability goals annually.

 

The ISO certification maintained is a testament of the LGU's effort under the governance of Hon. Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes in continously complying with the requirements needed to improve its quality performance towards achieving client satisfaction.

 

LGU Pilar indeed, achieved another milestone of quality and excellence through the joint efforts, commitment and dedication of its Local Chief Executive, Municipal Officials, Department Heads and Heads of Office and the process owners which significantly contributed in the realization of being ISO Certified Municipality which turned into a reality.
