PILAR MAYOR SIGNS MOA WITH OWWA
PILAR, SORSOGON - Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes joins the Local Chief Executives of Sorsogon in the MOA Signing with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Welfare Office 5 graced by the honor of the presence of OWWA Administrator Arnel Ignacio today, April 12, 2023 at People’s Mancion in Sorsogon.
The LCEs of Sorsogon led by Gov. Edwin “Boboy” Hamor expressed their united support by their presence in the event. The signing of the MOA underscores the covenant between the LGUs with the Provincial Government and OWWA in further championing the welfare of OFWs and their families. A commitment of support was then manifested by the contracting parties to share their resources to give all the necessary intervention to the OFWs and their dependents. In attendance to the event are the PESO Managers of Sorsogon, the OFC Provincial Federation and the Media Community.
