LGU-Pilar hosts 2nd Quarter Bicol Regional ERPAT Federation Mobile Meeting
PILAR, SORSOGON- The Local Government Unit of Pilar thru the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (OMSWD) hosts the 2nd Quarter Bicol Regional ERPAT Federation (BREF) Mobile Meeting on June 20,2023 held at Parau Hall C, LGU Complex, Calongay, Pilar, Sorsogon.
Attended by the Empowerment and Re-Affirmation of Paternal Abilities (ERPAT) Federation Presidents of 20 municipalities in Bicol region with ERPAT Associations, CSWDO and MSWDO, ERPAT Focal Person Vladimir Abogado and ERPAT Federation President Ruel Reyes, the meeting commenced at 11 o’clock in the morning.
The agendum mainly focuses on the accomplishments of ERPAT associations, ERPAT implementation updates and its best practices per City/Municipality.
Empowerment and Reaffirmation of Paternal Abilities (ERPAT) Association on the other hand is organized to help sustain the project and expand its reach to other areas with its advocacy to conduct social mobilization activities in securing support and awareness on the familial concerns and issues.
However, it also gives importance and emphasis on the father's parental roles, responsibilities and abilities.
Moreover, CSWDO urged ERPAT Federation Officers to strengthen their association to enable them to achieve their goals and objectives.
Meanwhile, the election of new officers for BREF vacant positions concludes the forum. The activity was then facilitated by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development headed by Ms. Anilyn Bon, RSW. (Pilar PIO)
