Educational Assistance Provided to Students in Pilar, Sorsogon
PILAR, SORSOGON- The Provincial Government headed by Provincial Governor Boboy Hamor through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Pilar headed by Municipal Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes provided educational assistance to 200 students of Pilar, Sorsogon under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
This Program aims to support students facing financial challenges as they pursue their studies. Each student beneficiary received P5,000.00 to help cover educational expenses such as school supplies, transportation, and other educational needs.
The program is a crucial part of the government’s effort to provide aid to students who are in need. Through the Program, the students can better focus on their studies and continue striving toward their academic goals.
