LGU Pilar Conducts Orientation on PNPKI Digital Signature
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pilar, led by Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes, successfully conducted an orientation on the Department of Information and Communications Technology's (DICT) Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Digital Signature on March 7 at the Executive Hall, Municipal Hall, Pilar, Sorsogon.
The orientation aimed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the PNPKI Digital Signature, including its purpose, usage, and benefits. It also equipped attendees with the necessary knowledge to obtain their own digital certificates or signatures from DICT, supporting the LGU’s efforts in digital transformation.
Key participants are Municipal Administrator Arnol P. Lista, Vice Mayor Luis C. Leosala Jr., Municipal Councilor Emmanuel H. Sia, and Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes, along with Department Heads from various offices of the LGU. This initiative reinforces Pilar’s commitment to enhancing digital governance and providing efficient public service.
