PILAR TRAINING CENTER ACHIEVES 94.74% PASSING RATE IN DRIVING NC II ASSESSMENT


PILAR, SORSOGON.  94.74% passing rate in Driving NC ll Assessment thrilled the Office of the PTC Center Manager after the result of which reached her attention. It creates a driving force to continue its efforts to aspire and work hard to achieve a 100% passing rate within the year. The assessment for the 19 trainee-graduates was set on May 9 and 10, 2025 at Sorsogon National Agricultural School (SNAS). 18 of them successfully passed all the basic, common and core competencies which includes Carry Out Minor Vehicle Maintenance and Servicing, Drive Light Vehicle, Obey and Observe Traffic Rules and Regulations, and Implement and Coordinate Accident-Emergency Procedures.
 
One trainee was not able to pass all the competencies and therefore marked NOT YET COMPETENT, while the other one failed to appear during the assessment.

The Training in Driving NC II is a partnership of LGU Pilar and TESDA-SNAS in the former's commitment towards skilled and competent workforce. Pilar Training Center, an LGU-run TVET provider is on the forefront to making this happen. The provision of this training was designed to equip the drivers of the Transport Vehicle given by LGU Pilar to the 49 barangays of the needed skill and competence in putting these vehicles in good hands. More training programs are underway at Pilar Training Center now and in the coming years. (Pilar PIO)
