SK Chairpersons and Treasurers attend workshop on Planning and Budgeting for FY 2024
PILAR, SORSOGON- The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons and Treasurers of the LGU-Pilar attended a one-day seminar workshop on Planning and Budgeting for the year 2024 held at Parau Hall C, LGU Complex, Calongay, Pilar, Sorsogon on Friday, January 12.
SK Federation President Joshua V. Drio and Ms. Krisanta M. Loriaga, Local Youth and Development Officer (LYDO) facilitated the workshop administered by the Office of the Municipal Budget Officer headed by Atty. Delan John Llarena along with Ms. Elenita Lubiano, Administrative Officer V and Ms. Lea Cabauatan, Administrative Aide III.
The said workshop specifically aims to capacitate and increase the knowledge of the newly elected SK Chairpersons and appointed Treasurers in annual budgeting, legal process, and budget allocation through the assistance of the Budget Office.
Additionally, the workshop promises interactive discussions, informative sessions, and an opportunity to network with key stakeholders in the field and aims to address the challenges associated with planning and budgeting of the SK.
Meanwhile, Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes conveyed her message to the young officials as she hopes that everyone will serve the community specifically the youth with utmost desire and strong commitment.
The activity concluded with the awarding of Certificate of Appreciation to the speakers presented by Mayor Sweet together with the SK Federation President and LYDO. (Pilar PIO)
