Mayor Sweet applauds Eco-Aides hardwork, gives 25 kilos rice each

PILAR, SORSOGON- Pilar Mayor Carolyn “Sweet” C. Sy-Reyes, expresses an overwhelming appreciation of the hardwork of Pilareño Ground Keepers a.k.a Eco-Aides under Sorsogon Provincial Government’s Kalinigan Program thru the distribution of 25 kilos rice each worker today, April 1, 2024.

Eighty-one workers distributed in Stretch 1 covering 7 barangays along Maharlika Highway, Stretch 7 with 10 barangays and Stretch 10 with 5 interior barangays. These 81 workers had made a difference in the maintenance of cleanliness, obstruction-free and zero plastic wastes along the roads of Pilar. Mayor Sweet constantly witnessed their day-to-day struggle in their respective areas having 400-500 meters right and left sides of the road area to be maintained on her way to the office in the morning

Back-to-back with the distribution of 25 kilo-rice each is the payment of wages of the workers administered by the Pay-Out Masters of PG Sorsogon. Shared responsibility to guarantee the welfare of workers is but one of the most gratifying acts any leader can demonstrate. (Pilar PIO)
